I’m delighted to say that after our fantastic first class in April, Bread by Hand is back! We have scheduled two dates, one evening and one Saturday so that hopefully there is a class to suit every schedule. What really makes this class stand out is that you individually make three bread doughs from scratch, which enables you to get a real feel of how to create a beautiful soft dough as well as shaping it and knowing when it’s baked to perfection! This allows you to get a great understanding of the basics, but we also touch on how to advance your bread baking with different shapes and flavours. There will be bread to taste during the class and plenty left to take home.
We have also added two new dates for our Afternoon Tea Class, learn how to bake a beautiful tea of coconut & lime macarons, honey & orange madeleines, buttermilk scones, and Viennese whirls. We cover a lot of skills in the four hours including piping, beurre noisette, and of course the ultimate skill of making a macaron! At the end of the class you’ll be invited to sit down with a cup of tea (or coffee!) and sample your delights, but there is always lots left to take him and share.
