Macarons are an iconic symbol of French patisserie; always delicate and beautiful, and with an endless combination of colours, flavours, and fillings… they’re simply captivating!
This course has been made possible with the kind support of Gaye Perry from The Real Macaron Company. She has shared her knowledge, her skills, (and her patience!) with me to allow me to bring this workshop to you.
In this class you’ll learn the skill and then repeat it multiple times in order to give you the best understanding of the process and the key areas to focus on the most.
We’ll begin with a demonstration so that you can see the full process and ask questions before it’s your turn! You’ll begin by making plain macaron shells, then have the opportunity to make another two batches of different flavours. We’ll make a few flavoured fillings so that you’ll have plenty to take home to share (and show off!).
This class will take around 3 ½ hours and can be arranged for a weekday morning or afternoon at my own kitchen in Cumnor, West Oxford.
I am currently fully booked and will then be taking a break from running my classes – please check back at a later date for updates.
